I can't find my
six-digit code to access the questionnaire. What should I do?

if you represent a 2008 presidential or congressional candidate and need your
six-digit code. 2008 congressional candidates will only receive a code after
the primary in their state.
When will my results be online
for voters to see?
The Your Candidates—Your Health 2008 voter guide is now online
for both presidential and congressional candidates. If you recently submitted
your responses, they will be reviewed and posted by Research!America staff soon.
What if I'm a candidate for Congress and did not
receive a request to participate?
Congressional candidates will receive their log-in codes and a request to
respond following the primary in their state.
Please contact us if the primary in your
state is over and you have not received materials to participate.
Do I have to answer all the survey questions? No, we will accept partially completed questionnaires. Unanswered questions or questionnaires will be marked in the final voter guide with "no response."
Do I have to complete the questionnaire all at once? No, you can save your responses and return to the questionnaire to edit and add responses at a later time by selecting the "Save for Editing" button. When your responses are ready to be posted, use the "Submit for Publishing" button.
Can I edit my answers once I submit my questionnaire? Yes. Log in using the username and password you created and edit your responses. Once edited, click “Submit for Publishing.” Your responses will be temporarily removed from the site and must be reviewed by Research!America staff before being re-posted on the site. E-mail us if you have questions or problems.
What is the editing policy for the questionnaire? Only you and designated Research!America staff will have editing access to your questionnaire. We reserve the right not to publish or to edit responses that are obscene or otherwise unfit for publication. You will be notified of the edits and will be given the opportunity to modify your answer.
How secure is my information? Questionnaire responses are hosted on a secure server in Washington, DC, using industry-standard encryption technologies for transferring and receiving data. For more technical information about the security, please e-mail webmaster@yourcandidatesyourhealth.org.
When will my results be online for voters to see? The Your Candidates—Your Health 2008 voter guide for the presidential primaries will go online in November 2007. Research!America and our partners encourage you to bookmark www.yourcandidatesyourhealth.org and check back to see the final voter guide.
What if I'm a candidate for Congress and did not receive a request to participate? Congressional candidates will receive their log-in codes and a request to respond in 2008.
How will my answers be published? Candidates' responses will be available to the public through an easy-to-use online format allowing voters to find their candidates' responses. Research!America reserves the right to publish the information collected here for future educational initiatives. We will not use your responses to oppose, endorse or rank candidates or in any other way that might be construed as influencing voting decisions.
What happens if I am no longer in the race? Responses from candidates who have withdrawn or who will not be on the ballot in the general election in November will be removed from the site.
